About Us, find out who we are and what we do
We provide engaging and interactive content, specifically focused on how to be enterprising and entrepreneurial in today’s modern digital world. This is delivered using a variety of media from printed booklets, to e-learning platforms with engaging videos and online assessments.
Our courses are mapped to recognised funded qualifications, which allows some organisations to deliver the courses and receive funding as part of a time tabled curriculum.
We are a registered academy with the Institute Of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs (IOEE). This allows us to offer self-study and enrichment courses externally certified by the IOEE.
Who we work with
Recently we have been working closely with the prison service, in order to deliver ground breaking courses focused on their specific needs. The aim of this collaboration is to reduce reoffending and help improve the opportunities of ex-offenders. This is particularly useful as they often find it hard to gain satisfying employment after release.
So far we have helped over 15 prisons and delivered courses and programmes to over 200 learners. We are currently delivering inspiration and self-employed workshops with the National Careers Service and learners can also access our self-study courses via the Prison Education Trust.
Rocketeer Enterprise was founded by Richard Wood. After an extensive career in education, followed by working as a movie producer and being involved with a number of successful start-ups, he noticed how new technologies and digital media gave organisations an advantage whilst allowing people to start up businesses easier than ever before.
After this, he realised he could merge his experience and insights to create courses teaching people how to use what’s available today to build a successful business. Working with a team of expert writers, designers, video producers and digital agencies, this content is now available in a variety of mediums.
These courses were well received and after various connections were made we began working closely within the prison community and are now working within the education sector.
